Fashion's Night Out in NYC!!

Greetings and love!

I hope those of you who have a passion for fashion will join me in NYC for Fashion’s Night Out on September 10, 2009!!! This is the mark of New York’s fashion week and if you live fashion like I do, it’s one of the best weeks of the year (well next to other fashion weeks and shark week of course lol)!!

Fashion’s Night Out is a global initiative to promote retail, the second-largest sector of industry in NYC, with events occurring in NYC, United Kingdom, Spain, India, Greece, China, Italy, Germany, Russia, Japan, France Taiwan, and Brazil. So even if you’re not in the country, you can still participate =)

American Vogue has collaborated with the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York to bring forth this amazing night to promote consumer spirit and enthusiasm that will hopefully boost the local fashion industry!

There will be festivities, giveaways, sweepstakes, makeovers, and maybe even champagne, hors d'oeuvres, model, and celebrity appearances!

What makes it even cooler is there a Fashion’s Night Out t-shirt that is/will be available for sale! 40% of retail proceeds of the t-shirt will be donated to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum! So you can come help stimulate the economy and give back, all in the same night!

WTF is wrong wit people?!

Who told these people that walkin out the house like this was alright?! Summer Jam 2009 brought some freaks out. And we wonder why people talk about and stereotype Black folk... THIS IS WHY!!! Oh Em Gee... really? Now this ain't being mean, this ain't hatin... this is being honest. And they came together!... They probably left home like "Girl we bout to kill this Sh**"... NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT. Ugh(3x).. smh...

Why do Black people dance when they eat?

You ever notice how when Black people get something to eat they must hum and dance a dance that you have never seen in your life? Well... it is scientifically proven that this dates back to Slavery... Back in the day a three course meal was'nt a normal thing. The reason for rejoicing and celebrating... Crazii huh?... Nah i'm lying. lol. But that sound like some sh** that could be true tho! lol. Why else do we feel the need to celebrate a bag of chips or a chicken wing? SIT DOWN! Stop actin like you ain't never ate before. lol. You may have never even noticed that you do it. lol. Peep ya lil cousin out the next time he standin up eatin a bowl of Captain Crunch.

Ladies... Ladies... Ladies... lmao... wow... okay. So, to start this off i must tell a little background story to my reasoning for this blog.

okay here goes...

Myspace... it's old i kno, but i was logged in the other day (gotta keep up with those who haven't updated to sumthin like Facebook or Twitter) and i saw the most HORRIFIC thing... UGLY PEOPLE!!! okay, now i don't think that i'm the flyest thing walking this earth... but come on. lol. But anyways, i believe when ur facially challenged, u shouldn't go anywhere near a camera. It's one thing to kno ur ugly... but wen ur unaware and ur scaring the world by putting ur face on the internet then sumthing MUST be done.

But anyways... back to the little anecdote, I was on Myspace jus glancing and looking for sumthin atleast close to interesting, and i came across some buffoonery!

Huge girls dressed in small animal prints. Word to the fat... STOP dressin in Cheetah and Zebra print! Now i kno they don't make Elephant and Hippo print, but atleast dress in sumthin a little closer to ur size. Trust me... NO ONE is hating on you! These picture captions are ridiculous! "Bit**** just mad cuz i'm stuntin on them" blah blah blah. BI***! You ain't stuntin on nuthin! lol... now let me calm down... as my Facebook status once said "...Ugly people make me laugh"... lol. And mad. Yea, yea i kno "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"... but wen you ain't beholdin it, keep that sh** to urself. But let me stop cuz God onlii knows how my kids are gonna come out. lol...
